TOKYO, JAPAN, January 25, 2002 --- NTT DoCoMo, Inc. announced today that it will apply to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and London Stock Exchange (LSE), aiming at actual listings in early March.
Listings on two of the world's most prestigious exchanges will expand investment opportunities to a wider investor base and enhance global liquidity. The listings should also broaden DoCoMo's financing options in the global capital markets and facilitate its growing operations around the globe.
The company's enhanced worldwide profile as a result of the listings will support development of global markets for DoCoMo's mobile services. The company is now working with local providers to promote its
