TOKYO, JAPAN, April 22, 2002 --- NTT DoCoMo, Inc. announced today that the DoCoMo group's
international dialing service, currently an optional service, would become automatically available to all new DoCoMo PDC-based cellular phones on May 23, 2002. In addition, WORLD CALL will become newly available to new satellite phone subscribers on May 29, 2002.
WORLD CALL is already a standard service for
and "Pre-Call" prepaid phones. Existing PDC and satellite phone subscribers will still apply separately to begin using WORLD CALL.
WORLD CALL enables mobile phone users to call directly to more than 200 countries at competitive rates by simply dialing 009130 prior to the country code. Calls are billed in ten-second increments and all charges are added conveniently to the customer's regular monthly bill.

In accordance with official requirements, DoCoMo today submitted notification of the change to the Ministry of Public Management, Home Affairs, Post and Telecommunications.
