TOKYO, JAPAN, February 28, 2001-- NTT DoCoMo, Inc. (NTT DoCoMo) announced today that it has upgraded the software in its Digital Mova P503i HYPER cellular phone and will begin reselling the handset though all NTT DoCoMo sales channels on March 5, 2001.
The company had suspended sales due to a glitch in the model's image processing software.
Customers who purchased the original Digital Mova P503i HYPER can exchange them for a new version free of charge beginning March 1, 2001. Exchanges can be made at any NTT DoCoMo service station, including branch offices and affiliated "DoCoMo Shops." Owners will be notified of the situation directly via direct mail (post).
