| TOKYO, JAPAN June 29, 2001---NTT DoCoMo, Inc. and its eight regional subsidiaries will upgrade software at i-mode centers in Tokyo and Kanagawa in order to improve services for customers. The work will improve the performance of servers located at the centers and cause i-mode service to run more efficiently. The maintenance work will be performed on August 8 and August 9, 2001 from 2:00 a.m. to 4:50 a.m. During this timeframe, it will not be possible to use certain i-mode services and short mail service in the cases listed below. Normal voice service will not be affected by the maintenance work. |
