CommuicAsia, one of Asia Pacific's largest telecommunications exhibitions, is expected to attract more than 25,000 visitors this year.
NTT DoCoMo will demonstrate service applications of W-CDMA, the third-generation mobile communications system, including mock-ups of commercial systems. It will also introduce leading-edge mobile communications services, such as "i-mode", which enables users to access on-line services and the Internet via cellular telephones, and "Doccimo" PDC/PHS dual-mode terminals capable of high-speed 64 kbps data transmission.
