Revision of Proposed Annual Dividend Payments for the Fiscal Year Ending

TOKYO, JAPAN, August 31, 1999 -- NTT Mobile Communications Network, Inc. (the "Company") today announced revisions to the Company's proposed annual dividend payments for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2000. In addition to the previously proposed annual dividends of 600 per share, the Company has decided to pay memorial dividends of 400 per share in commemoration of the successful development in mobile multimedia services of DoCoMo (the Company and its 29 consolidated subsidiaries) as demonstrated by the number of its cellular phone subscribers surpassing 25 million and the number of subscribers to "i-mode" (a mobile communications service with Internet capabilities offered by the Company) surpassing 1 million. The annual dividend payments will total 1,000 per share. The Company has also decided to pay interim dividends this year and that the payment of such annual dividend of 1,000 per share will be split as follows:
