| NTT Mobile Communications Network, Inc. (NTT DoCoMo; Keiji Tachikawa, President; headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) and Telecom New Zealand Limited (Roderick Deane, Chief Executive Officer; headquarters: Wellington, New Zealand), New Zealand's leading telecommunications company, have agreed to promote mutual cooperation including development of third generation mobile communications system (IMT-2000) and have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to that effect.
This MoU is regarded as a first step toward mutual collaboration on mobile communications systems. |
