NTT DoCoMo to Add Canada to International Calling Service "WORLD CALL"

NTT Mobile Communications Network, Inc. (NTT DoCoMo; Keiji Tachikawa, President; headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) announced that it would add Canada as a destination for its "WORLD CALL" International Calling Service from Thursday, October 1. The service allows customers to make international calls directly from NTT DoCoMo cellular phones.

Outline of International Calling Service "WORLD CALL"


1.

Content of Service
Voice service originating from cellular phones. The service will initially be available only from Japan.

2.

Conditions
Available to full-day digital system (800MHz and 1.5GHz) customers
An application is necessary.
Individual customers must make payments by bank transfer.


The service is not available for customers of the Donichyo plan* or for customers who have applied for roaming and all-unit-display as optional services.
* Donichiyo plan-An economical service for limited use during weekends, holidays, and 7:00 p.m. through 8:00 a.m. weekdays.

3.

Charges
Contract fees and basic monthly charges are not required.

First, dial 009130. Following the message, dial the country code and telephone number.
