15,822 million) will participate in the P. T. / Wireless Comm China '97, which will be held in Beijing, People's Republic of China, from November 11, 1997, and demonstrate its latest mobile communications system. At the exhibition, NTT DoCoMo will introduce and demonstrate:
1. 2Mbps high-quality image transmission system using W-CDMA technology
2. PDC system
3. Mobile computing applications
4. FLEX-TD Radio Paging System
5. Satellite mobile communications services
In addition to state-of-the-art mobile communications technology, such as PDC and FLEX-TD, that the company is currently planning to introduce at the exhibition, NTT DoCoMo will demonstrate its W-CDMA transmission test system, a promising candidate for a next-generation mobile communications system (IMT-2000).
Moreover, NTT DoCoMo will express its commitment to actively cooperate in international standardization efforts to establish a next-generation mobile communications system by inviting a wide range of people and organizations, such as operators and manufacturers involved in mobile communications throughout the world, participate in W-CDMA system experiments.
