PDC

Personal Digital Cellular. The second-generation digital wireless communication system used in Japan. NTT DOCOMO offers its mova PDC service in the 800 MHz and 1.5 GHz frequencies. Circuit-switching data-transfer speeds of up to 9.6 kbps and packet communication of up to 28.8 kbps are possible.
