“One-segment” terrestrial digital television

Japan's mobile system for terrestrial digital television (DTTV), which began in 2006. DTTV in Japan has 13 frequency bands (“segments”), one of which is for mobile broadcasting. Video is transmitted in the H.264 (MPEG-4 AVC) format at QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) resolution. Currently, DTTV programs are broadcast simultaneously on mobile.
