LCD

Liquid crystal display. A device for displaying color images using liquid crystals. It is thinner and more energy efficient than the conventional cathode ray tubes used in conventional TVs. LCDs are used in a wide range of devices, including mobile phones, TVs, digital cameras and personal computers.
