ITU-R

ITU Radio communication division. An international organization that sets international standards and specifications for wireless communication. Its main role is the allocation of radio frequencies to countries. It also conducts research on the fair, effective and efficient use of radio frequencies and takes measures to prevent radio interference between countries.
