High Speed Uplink Packet Access. Enhanced 3G protocol standardized by the 3GPP for high-speed uplinks on UMTS/W-CDMA networks.
Standards have been defined as Release 6. The maximum throughput of HSUPA uplink is 5.7 Mbps under specifications.
