Flash™

Software developed by Macromedia (presently Adobe) for creating web content by combining sound and image data. It also refers to content made by the software. To view files made with Flash™ on a web browser, a dedicated plug-in, such as Flash™ Player, needs to be installed. Flash™ Lite is used for animation in mobile handsets.
