4G

Fourth-generation mobile telephone technology. The digital mobile phone system to be implemented after 3G. The details will be settled at the 2007 ITU-T (International Telecommunication Union Telecommunication Standardization Sector) assembly. Current proposal envisions using the 100 MHz frequency band to achieve data rates of 100 Mbps or more.
